Many Job Seekers benefit from Job Searching Coaching Services aimed at increasing their competitiveness on the market and reduce the time they are unemployed. The longer the time a person is unemployed the lower the chances to find a job that would meet their initial expectations.

Many large companies are using outplacing/career transition services to help their employees find new employment once the downsizing takes place. Lately some of the smaller companies came to realise the advantages of using such services.

When the set o skills needed is not properly addressed The Road t successfully secure employment is a long and bumpy one and the actual performance level is negatively influenced.

To reverse this cycle our Career Services focus on:

Life planning

This segment covers issues such as:

  • Identify personal talents
  • Identify personal values
  • Determine success requirements in life and career
  • Determine the role and importance of professional career in personal life
  • Determine what needs to be done to achieve success.
  • Develop an action plan and the results monitoring system that would help achieve the desired results.

Covering all these topics will help clients through awareness-building exercises that bring forward powerful insights as well as building a new perspective on how their career fits into their life, resulting in confident career choices going forward.

Career planning

For a stronger focus on finding new employment and developing the best ways of securing the best results the clients need to:

  • Take inventory of their major career accomplishments and achievements to date, and identify how they specifically contributed to those results
  • Identify personal core competencies and skills
  • Determine personal core values
  • Develop a detailed career vision
  • Define the "perfect" job that would fit with their skills, expectations, values and family requirements.

While covering these issues the client will develop the foundation for a focused job search program.

Job Market Research / Search Strategy

This segment helps the client determine and clarify:

  • Where do the Job Market Research and the Search Strategy fit in the overall plan.
  • What are the current tools and services available for finding the information related to available positions.
  • How to conduct a detailed and focused job search
  • Where do you look for information and what is important information.
  • Planning the Search Strategy and monitoring its development.

Having all these issues covered helps the client achieve positive results faster and easier.

Personal Marketing

It is of outmost importance for all job seekers or people who are looking at a career change to develop a personal marketing strategy. As with any other business activity there is a customer (prospective employer) and a product/service (the job seeker). While we all have a good idea of the importance of marketing our products or services we forget the importance to do the same thing with our own skills, personality, qualities and benefits when looking for a new position. In doing it the clients should:

  • Understand the importance of a structured and well defined personal marketing plan.
  • Be aware of all the components that need to be included: resume presentation, voice, introduction, ways of marketing oneself, etc.
  • Learn about networking and how to use it for self marketing.
  • Learn basic communications skills that would help in better marketing.
  • Develop the empowering perspective that would help them market themselves in a natural and hones way.

Interviewing

Interviewing is one of the most important steps in securing a new position. This is why the clients have to either learn the skills of successful interviewing or to fine-tune their existing skills. Our services look at:

  • Understanding the interview process and the likely dynamics.
  • Designing a strategy for successful interviewing.
  • What to look for and what to avoid during an interview.
Skills and techniques needed for successful interviewing.
  • Questions one should ask and questions that are most likely to be asked by the interviewer.
  • Develop and interview action plan.

UAchieve Coaching is offering a unique Job Interview preparation workshop which will help you get ready for that big day and exponentially increase your chances of securing the position you are interested in.
